The loudest voice is often the voice that’s heard, but not necessarily the best voice to listen to. Authority figures would like us to believe that their authority rests on experience, knowledge and leadership skills. Sometimes that’s true, but more and more it seems to me that authority is dished out based on expedience and ambition. I’ve always had a hard time with that kind of authority.
